my name is whatever you want it to be, but i’ve been “Tuan” since birth.

i’m an artist.

i’m a music producer and dj.

i’m a journalist and technologist.

i’m making lots of mistakes along the way.

i’m a being having a human experience.

i produce and DJ under the name “tuanfluence”.

i studied and played classical piano as a kid—but honestly, i hated it. mostly because i always had to “practice.” it was painful. but expressing myself through art was always a thing: drawing, painting, singing.

who knew though, that things would end up going full circle. if i didn’t practice enough, i’d always get in trouble. but now, making music is on my mind the moment i wake up and it’s on my mind when i go to sleep.

i realized that all artists, dancers, and listeners, are just people who want to be with each other and connect, as kids, and not get “in trouble.”
